Once the Web Scheduler is enabled, it uses your existing availability settings to determine when clients can book — and automatically prevents double-bookings.
This article explains where availability comes from and how conflicts are avoided.
Where Your Availability Comes From
The Web Scheduler pulls your available appointment times from two places:
1. User Profile Availability
Set your working days, time slots, and appointment buffer time in the Calendar Settings of your User Profile. This controls what times are offered in the scheduler.

2. Autopilot Services
Each Autopilot Service has a duration setting. The total of the durations for each service on a job determines how long the appointment will block your schedule.
How Conflicts Are Prevented
The scheduler ensures that no one can book you when you’re already committed:
Tentative or Confirmed Jobs in Tap Inspect: Existing jobs already on your schedule will block overlapping time slots.
Linked Google Calendar Events: If you've connected a Google Calendar (via Settings > Integrations), any events on that calendar will be treated as busy time and also block availability.
Tips for Managing Your Schedule
- Double-check your buffer time to avoid back-to-back jobs
- Link your Google Calendar if you manage other appointments outside Tap Inspect
- If you need to reserve a day or time manually, create a tentative job or block it on your calendar.
