When you enable the Web Scheduler, each of your Autopilot services is updated with new options that control how services are shown to clients. This lets you decide what appears, how it’s labeled, and what your clients see during booking.
What Changes in Autopilot When the Scheduler Is Enabled?
Once the Web Scheduler is active, each Autopilot Service includes a few new options:
Service Description is Now Client-Facing
The description field is no longer just for internal use. The web scheduler uses it to help the visitor select the right service.
Tip: Be sure to review and update each one to ensure it’s clear, professional, and client-friendly.
Service Type
A new Service Type dropdown lets you organize your offerings:
- Primary Service – Your main inspection types (e.g., Home, Condo)
- Add-on Service – Optional extras like Radon Testing or Sewer Scope
These labels determine how services are grouped and displayed to clients during booking. They do not affect how the job behaves inside Tap Inspect.
Web Scheduler Toggle
You’ll also see a new toggle: Show this as an option in the web scheduler.
Use this to control visibility of the service:
- ON – Service will appear as a selectable option in the scheduler
- OFF – Service will be hidden from clients but still available internally
This gives you fine control over what’s available for self-booking.
