Messaging allows you to select and send a series of automated messages to the people involved in a Job. Each section of the Messaging page is related to different parts of the Scheduling system.
Messages are sent automatically when certain events occur in the lifecycle of a job.
You can create alternate versions of each message and customize the content for clients or agents. You can even customize the content based on the services selected for a specific job.
Scheduling Messages
Control when a message is sent by choosing the most appropriate Trigger. You can also select specific services that must be present in the job with the Deliver For menu.
Control who receives this message by choosing specific roles from the Deliver To menu. If you want to send this message to a specific email address every time (such as a third-party vendor) you may specify that in the Also CC To menu.
You can insert special placeholders into the subject and body of the message that will automatically be replaced by values from the job. Place the cursor in the body of the message and choose the appropriate option from the Insert Values menu.
Emails will include the organization signature you have defined under your Organization Profile. Teams can optionally choose to sign specific emails with the inspector's signature.
Scheduling messages can automatically include a calendar invitation to your clients and agents to help them block out the correct date and time in their personal calendars.
