If you use Tap Inspect Invoicing, you can view a detailed list of payments associated with your invoices directly from your web account. This includes payments manually added to a job or invoice, as well as payments made by customers online using Tap Inspect Payments.
This is helpful for reviewing recent payments, reconciling deposits, or answering questions about a specific job or client.
How This Relates to Invoicing
The Payments page shows payments that have been recorded on invoices, whether they were manually added to a job or paid online using Tap Inspect Payments.
How a payment appears here depends on how it was recorded:
Manually added payments are listed for record-keeping and do not include processing fees.
Online payments include payment method details and any applicable processing fees.
If a payment was handled entirely outside of Tap Inspect and not recorded on the invoice, it will not appear in this list.
For full invoice details, including invoice status and line items or taxes, open the related job or view the invoice directly from the Invoice section of the job.
Where to Find Your Payments
Tap your profile image and tap Settings.
From the left-hand menu, tap Payments.
What You’ll See on the Payments Page
What appears at the top of the Payments page depends on whether your account is set up to accept online payments.
If you use Tap Inspect Payments, you’ll see a Merchant Information section with details about your payment account and processing status.
If you do not use Tap Inspect Payments, you’ll see an Add Online Payments to Tap Inspect section instead, which explains how to enable online payments.
Even if you’re not using Tap Inspect Payments, you can still view payments that were manually added to invoices in the list below.
Filtering Payments
At the top of the Payments page, you can filter the list to find specific payments. This is useful for monthly bookkeeping, reconciling payouts, and reviewing payments for a specific timeframe or payment type
Date Range: Use the Start Date and End Date fields to view payments for a specific time period.
Payment Method: Use the dropdown to filter payments by payment method.
After adjusting your filters, tap Refresh to update the list.
Each row in the list represents a single payment. Totals are displayed at the bottom of the list.

Fees (if processing fees apply)
Total payment less any applicable fees
