***Please note, the ISN integration is not compatible with the new app experience. The instructions below only apply to the legacy version of the app.
Once an ISN order is created or changed, the Tap Inspect system should pick up the changes within 15 minutes. Any new or modified reports will appear on your mobile devices the next time they connect to the Tap Inspect servers.
The first thing you will notice when you open a report that was imported from ISN is that the job information screen will appear differently. The normal job information items will be replaced with a new ISN Info section that contains information relevant to performing the inspection. The section will also contain a View Order on ISN button that will allow you to open this order on ISN's website.
In addition to what appears on the job information screen, Tap Inspect will also look at the general section of your report and attempt to populate any items that match the information contained on the Property Info and Additional Services tabs of the ISN order. For example, take a look at this ISN order:
If your Tap Inspect template has items in the general section that exactly match the spelling as it appears in the ISN order property info tab, then the values you set in ISN will be transferred to your report. This includes any custom controls you have added to your ISN property info tab. In the example above, Tap Inspect will look for items with the following names in your report:
- Year Built
- Approximate Age
- Square Feet
- Pool/Spa
- Alarm Information
- Gate Code
- Lockbox Code
- MLS Number
- Client Attending
- Occupied
- Utilities On
If the Additional Services tab of your ISN order looks like this:
Tap Inspect will look for items with the following names in your report:
- Termite Inspection
- Radon Inspection
- Thermography Inspection
- Mold Inspection
The items in your report may either be multiple-choice or generic text items. Some values on the property info screen (like referral, etc.) are not shared with us by ISN and are not populated in your report.
