About SMS Texting

SMS Texting is an optional messaging channel for Autopilot users with an active paid subscription. Once SMS Texting has been enabled, you can define and send SMS messages to people in your job when a trigger fires.

Add SMS Texting to Your Account

Visit your SMS Texting settings page to Get Started with the six-step wizard.

SMS Texting Messages

Once you have enabled SMS Texting, you will see a few new text messages on your Messaging settings page. They are disabled by default.

Keep in mind that a Text Message is approximately 160 characters long. Long messages and long URLs may be counted as multiple messages. The provided default Text Messages are within the 160character limit.

There are two inspection reminder text messages that can be sent to your client and their agent.

There is also a text message that will let you share your results via text.

Tap on any of them to enable the message and modify the actual text like other messages.

Working With SMS Text Message

Text messages behave just like other messages in an Autopilot job. They are displayed in the Messages feed just like any other message. Scheduled text messages also have the same scheduled messages action menu.
