Tap Inspect provides several visual indicators on the Perform Inspection screen when you are working in a report. These are designed to help keep you on track during the process of doing the inspection and to remind you to record certain information.
Incomplete Items
The report checklist keeps track of what items have been recorded and also what conditions have not been recorded if they have been enabled. The number of incomplete items is a section, or subsection, is displayed in a red circle next the section name. As you record information and complete the items in that section the number will decrease until the red circle goes away.
When are are working in a section you can see which items are incomplete. A red question mark is displayed next to each item that has not been recorded.
Condition Ratings
If condition ratings are enabled for your report an item may not be considered complete until the condition for the item has also been recorded.
When an multiple choice item has a description selected but no condition has been recorded you will see 'Condition: ?' in red displayed in the item. Rating the condition by selecting an option will complete the item.
Comments
The number in the grey circle next to a section or item name indicates the total number of comments in that report element. For example, the Attic section of a report may have a total of two comments as indicated by the number two in the grey circle.
When you go into the Attic section you will see one comment displayed. The Rood Framing item also has a one in a grey circle indicating that there is a comment in that item as well. Tapping on the Rood Framing item opens it and you can see a comment displayed there as well.
