Each message sent by your Team is an important part of your client's experience. Messaging can be customized in a variety of ways to match the type of Team you are building your brand and voice as a company.
All the features of Tap Inspect Messaging are still available with the Team plan, with one big difference. Messages can be sent from the company or by the assigned inspector.
By default, all Messaging for a Team is sent from the assigned inspector using the Company Signature in your Company Profile.
Sending From the Company
For Teams that want Messaging sent from the company, you will need to set your Office Email in your Company Profile. Otherwise, Messaging will be sent from the assigned inspector.
You will also want to review your company email signature to be sure it is still appropriate for everyone on your team. Only Team Owners are permitted to modify the Company Signature in the Company Profile.
Sending as the Assigned Inspector
For Teams that want Messaging sent from the assigned inspector, you will need to be sure Office Email is left blank in the Company Profile.
Each inspector will need to complete the Inspector Signature in their User Profile so the signature will be available in the Messaging settings.
Select a Signature for Each Message
Team Owners can go into each message and select which signature they want to show at the end of the message.
The Company Signature will be selected by default on each message. The signature choice can be changed on a message-by-message basis depending on the type of branding and voice you want for your Team.
