You can Enable Sales Taxes by activating the option in the Invoices settings.
Sales Tax Should Be Applied To
- Everything on the invoice
- Only the Services I indicate
Tax Rates
If you charge taxes for some or all of your services, define the separate tax rates on the Tax Rates settings of your web account. Default tax rates will be added to every job automatically
Add Tax Rate
Define the basic information for this tax rate.
If you would like this tax rate to be added to every job by default, select the "Set as a default tax rate" option.
If this tax rate is only used on certain jobs, you can either manually add it when scheduling or you can associate it with specific services so that it is automatically applied when you need it. For example, you can create separate services for "West Virginia home inspection" and "Ohio home inspection" that have different tax rate settings.
Tax rates will only be applied to services that are designated to be taxable. Make sure you have set the taxable switch for each service that requires it in your scheduling settings.
